What if there was a way to further your own work and practice by hearing others talk about your art and how they receive them? Well, it is possible! The introvert friendly Critique Nights are a great setting to hear others talk about your art and how they receive them.
This 75-minute session offers artists the possibility to present a work they want to display or discuss.
It can be most helpful for art and artists to allow other's to see and comment each others' work. Critique nights at the High Horse Galerie & Ateliers offers artists feedback that is focused on appreciation and nextsteps to consider and explore. A presenting artist can choose if they want to receive appreciation and next steps or just appreciation.

(IntrovertCritique Nightfriendly)
the event is considered introvert friendly because this is a low/no pressure enviroment. The evening begins with two minutes of slowing down (mindfulness, grounding, prayer, calming, settling, silence, whatever you need).
then a host guides the participants through the evening: greeting and presentation of event's plan, time keeping, inviting participation when pertinent, and facilitating discussion when pertinent.
the Ateliers Standards are reviewed each session. because we focus on positivity and growth, you can be a silent observer, possible to request written feedback, and open to hearing your requests.
